I'm hoping to have Math Salad Bar kits in the classroom. This would be a rolling cart with various trays stocked full of Math manipulatives that they can easily access when needed. Each tray has different materials that one table uses and explores with at a time. The salad bar allows for math tools to be traveled effectively and efficiently. Each tray will house the manipulatives they use on a weekly basis while exploring various Math concepts. If students are working on a multiplication array of three by five, they can grab the appropriate tools from the tray and make the three by five array effectively and efficiently. It is accessible and engaging for students to pull what they need from the Math Salad Bar!
