My students will work on the HP laptop to access our math/reading interventions, special online programs to play math games, practice basic math skills, and reading sites such as Read Works, NewsELA, and No Red Ink. I am also requesting a mouse because our elementary students struggle with the touch sensor on laptops and have more experience on desktop computers that have a mouse. Finally, I need a flash drive to transfer videos and lessons from other computers to this one and vice versa. Each of my students have unique learning styles and I plan to use the laptop to reach my technology-minded students. Donations to this project will help bring an exciting new tool for our students to use as intervention and in small groups. My students won't see it as being pulled out to "do work," they'll look at it as a special treat during their school day.
