When our projector bulb went out, my school told me there was no money to replace it. I am a music teacher, and much of my teaching is done with a projector. Without it, I cannot use the vast majority of my online curriculum resources, my interactive white board activities, or show the students videos of their own performances to evaluate. It also means that I have to print and photo copy more, which uses up paper that I buy out of my own pocket. With a projector, student learning is enhanced and my district-provided resources as well as my own resources are more efficiently and effectively used. My students will be able to use these valuable resources to help them make connections between what they hear and what they see. The interactive activities will also allow them to play games to enhance their understanding and practice what they have learned.
