With these materials my students will be able to explore the elements of art and the principals of design. They will gain an understanding of the visual components of line, shape, color, form, space, texture, and value as they jump in and begin the process of making. The students will also explore textiles and design through crochet, dyeing and knitting. My students are so creative and will use all the tools to create beautiful art! They will fill our walls with color and make wearable art for both themselves and others.
