The three iPads will benefit my students in multiple ways, beginning with opening their eyes to technology. Not all of my students are fortunate enough to have come across a computer besides in a school setting. I currently have 2 computers for 21 kids and its hard to get my kids the required computer time. The cases will help protect these iPads which will allow for longer use. Having enough computers in my class to support my students will allow for my students to gain an experience that will help shape their lives. Our world is becoming technology based driven and and the experience students will get in my class will allow the students to stay ahead of the curve. I plan to have 5 students on a computer during center and construct different lessons that allow for technology. I would like to assign groups and having students construct power points about particular books. A printer will allow for us to have a resource in our classroom. Students will be able to explore more then what is readily available for them inside a classroom.
