My student are a variety of different cultures, backgrounds and economic status. I have 2 parent families, single parent families, and some are being raised by grandparents. My students are from the USA, Burma, Thailand and Mexico. Many of my students are economically disadvantaged and often don't have enough to eat at home. Coming to school makes them feel safe and loved. I love to see the joy on their faces when they master a new subject. With the help of Donors Choose I know I can help my students achieve anything. I want them to realize they can accomplish anything they want with hard work and the confidence they can always depend on help from others.
