Using a 3D printer in chemistry and biology will allow me to print out atoms, the periodic table, biology, and chemistry puzzles. 3D printing allows me as a teacher to make models to help students understand science better than ever before. We do hands-on activities in class where I ask students to create. I currently have a group of students making a board game. One of the students in the group 3D printed all of their characters and the board itself. By having a 3D printer I will be able to create custom items that will help me teach for a fraction of the price.

About my class
