My students are dynamic learners who are achieving excellence above all else despite the odds. These students are part of the school's 7 Star Distinction rating that only four other schools have earned in the Houston Independent School District. What a major feat considering we are a Title 1 school! These students show commitment to their education day in and day out. They are always ready to try new techniques to make their learning experience more purposeful and relevant. My classroom promotes 21st-century learning and we strive to connect Algebra to real-world connections with the use of technology. My classroom focus on the whole child so, that they can build on skill sets that will last them a lifetime.
