My KIPPsters attend a public charter school in Austin, TX. Although most of them are just six years old, they are in school for 9 hours each day, one Saturday a month, and for two weeks in the summer. Students at this school speak different languages at home, but all of them spend half of their day learning in Spanish and half of their day learning in English with the goal of becoming bilingual. My children know that we spend all of these hours working hard to get to and through college, in order to have a positive impact on their communities.

About my class
