The Diverse Learners in my room range greatly in their reading ability. As a teacher, I am always looking for ways to engage my Diverse Learners! Many of them learn through pictures and rely on colors and visuals to draw their attention. They are drawn in to reading by high interest materials that have lots of visuals and pictures of real life events and activities. A Time Kids subscription would allow my students a Window to the World! Most of my students are from low income families and struggle to experience life outside of our school neighborhood. These Time materials will help my emerging readers to picture important current events that are happening in the world around us.
