Our classroom is full of 25 active students who LOVE learning! The students in our classroom work hard everyday to achieve their learning goals. We spend time in reading groups and stations throughout the day as we are working to achieve our goals. With the aid of this grant, the students will be given new reading materials and station games that will enhance their learning environment. As a first grade teacher, I have learned it is so important to engage the parents in their child's learning. With our Reading Engagement Packs, the students will be allowed to take the materials home and complete the activity with a parent. The parent will be involved in their child's learning. This will give the parent ideas on ways to help their child meet their learning goals. It is such a joy to teach a room of first grade students who LOVE to learn and are EAGER to learn more! We truly appreciate your support!
