My students are comprised of 20 kindergarten students from many diverse background and a couple of students who are special needs. I have a variety of learning levels within my setting. There are children who have never attended school with limited exposure to knowledge and experience. There are also children who have reading awareness. There are a few students in my class who struggle with self-regulating skills and are in need of build on these skills. My goal this year to help my students build social skills, self-regulating skills, learning to read, learning math, and exploring science through hands on learning. This year my goal is to help students explore learning through hands on activities that shy away from traditional learning. Many children in my class find social interactions and building connections challenging. My hope is to help my students become the most successful kids possible!
