This is only the second year for this unique gifted program servicing students in grades first through third in reading. We love to do research and learn about different things. However, our only form of research is on the computer. As we all know, not everything you read on the internet is true. I want to teach my kids to look into books to find information too! I want to get enough books into my classroom that all my students can have one to research people, animals, and different states that we will use to connect to our Flat Stanley project. We will still use our technology for writing and publishing but I want more books in the hands of my students to look through and gain information from.
