Through this last year it has become apparant that to make home and school learning accessable and engaging I need tools to interest and support the curriculum that is being taught. Brainpop does this! At the beginning of the year I assigned, through Google Classroom, a free lesson through Brainpop. My students were completely engaged in the video lesson about the virus and then completed a word web to practice the vocabulary and took a short quiz that provided me with a snapshot to thier understanding of the materials presented all of this was assigned through Google Classroom, so I could see when the students had completed their lesson and quiz. This resource can be used in support of a myriad of subjects to support lessons and engage students!
