My students are a diverse population from a variety of cultures. They are also living in a high poverty area. They love coming to school and enjoy their learning experiences. In spite of the hardships that I know many of them face, they want to be in school every day. It is where they feel safe and be themselves. They often reflect on an activity that we have done in class and how it relates to their future. I want every experience they have during the school year to be positive and exciting so that they continue to want to come to school and work towards a better future. Helping to fund my projects help give that future to my students.

About my class
