The five iPads with cases will be used every day in both our math and reading block. The students are currently sharing one computer with a splitter for headphones as a listening center. These five iPads will provide differentiation for the students during reading and math centers. With an individual iPad, the students will be able to access their personal online reading library. The iPads will also be utilized during the math block. With the transition to Common Core mathematics, students have been given larger, real-world problems that require technology at an earlier age. Introducing this technology will give the students access to a wide variety of resources such as tailor-made math sprints. Giving low-income students access to new technology is an investment in their future. These iPads allow students to bridge the gaps in learning styles.
