Having access to a set of chromebooks in our classroom and not being dependent on using the grade-level set of 24 (for 4 classes and >80 students) would make a world of difference for our class! Small group instruction would mean so much more if one of our classroom centers involved technology and the ability to research for writing projects. We would also be able to use these chromebooks to enhance our social studies curriculum. Chromebooks could make a difference between traditional paper-based testing and online assessments. Using Chromebooks in the classroom would also allow me to track students’ progress in activities related to subject area.
