My students have been with me for 3 years and have learned to read at an average of 3 levels higher than when we started working together. I have infused very individualized learning goals based on what each specific student is passionate about and have found these children have immersed themselves in their own learning. An example of this would be their love of planets. I made a majority of the day around planets in reading, writing and math and they soared! It was the most amazing project of my 28 years in teaching! All the kudos goes to them!
