Students will each receive a copy of the book, "Wonder," to do a class book study together. We will use the book to look in-depth at different comprehension strategies and skills, as well as writing skills and fluency. I picked this book for our book study because not only can we use it for reading strategies, but also for lifelong lessons. This book teaches us about kindness, generosity and empathy, and overall, being a good person. There are so many different lessons my students can take from this book. I would like to share it with them in-depth, where they can each independently read it and see the world through the author's eyes.
