I teach in a Kindergarten classroom with a great deal of students who come from low income families. Currently my students are asked to sit at desks for the majority of the day. Being only 5 and 6 years old, they have a great deal of energy and an attention span of only 6-7 minutes. A flexible seating arrangement can allow for better concentration while keeping them comfortable, engaged, and relaxed. I hope to create an environment that helps students be their best learning selves.
