My class is crowded with the plain student desks that have an attached seat. With these lab tables, my students would be able to spread out more and have a variety of seating choices to make them more comfortable. When they are comfortable, they will be more willing to be involved. The tables would also allow for diverse seating arrangements that will allow me to use more of the classroom material instead of just standing at the front. It will also allow to smaller groups in science experiments and labs. The smaller groups allow more students to be involved instead of hiding in the back of larger groups.
