All of my students want to learn to use a DSLR Camera to take amazing photographs. Many students can not afford to buy one. Since we only have a few cameras that can be borrowed in class, many students do not have adequate time to learn hands-on and finish assignments on time. The additional cameras will give students who cannot afford such expensive equipment an opportunity to learn and experience photography as a "professional". They will also open up new creative outlets that are not readily available to them at home. Students will be able to use these digital cameras to create and share their artistic visions and personal expressions and connect with others through photography. We are all looking forward to a great year and successful launch of this newly created class!
