Students will use the principles they learn from the Physics Standards to build a simple machine using the tool kits and glue guns from this project so that it can travel 2 meters on its own independently. The machine will need to be able to deliver a payload of sand to the ending location. Will your machine deliver the payload? The machine can be of any design of their choosing using the supplied materials from me like blank CD's, cardboard, toilet paper rolls, and duct tape, to name a few. They will use the tools from the tool kits in this project like the hammers, screwdrivers and pliers, to help construct and build their machine. The machine can only have 1 piece of input such as a rubber band wound up to cause propulsion from the students to make it active. The glue guns can be used to adhere materials together in their simple machine.
