The materials I am requesting for my students have the potential to be an absolute game-changer this school year. If I have this outdoor seating, students will have the opportunity to work outside safely in the fresh air and sunshine. My students have been working so hard, and they are doing their best to keep morale high while playing catch up from missing 25% of their previous school year. I take them outside as often as I can, but it can be difficult to work while sitting on the ground. If we have these outdoor benches, students will be able to stay organized while they are happily sitting outside. Teachers have seen the effect that being in fresh air can have on our students' attitudes and general well-being. Now more than ever, this will help our students so much and be a much-needed boost.
