My students come from a high poverty area. Many of my students are learning English as a second language. My students have not been exposed to many opportunities such as traveling and visiting important places. I believe technology will help us discover places they have never been. My ESOL students will use the Chromebooks and Kindle Fires to work on learning English and how to read. My students can work on learning websites for more personalized learning, which will enhance the instruction I am giving them in the classroom every day. Most of my students do not have computers at home so having access at school will benefit all of them.
