Many of the activities most enjoyed by my students involve flag belts. Whether it is football or capture the chicken, my students just can't get enough. When they walk out to the field and see the box of flags their eyes light up. The only problem is that our old flags are worn out, and are very difficult to attach. With these new flags, not only will they be easier to put on and take off, but they will also be safer. There is nothing worse than having a child's flag pulled when they are running at full speed, and because there isn't an easy clip, both children end up on the ground. It is my mission to provide a variety of activities for our students in order to demonstrate that there is a multitude of ways to raise their heart rate, and stay healthy. A few years ago I purchased some tether ball poles and balls to introduce the kids to something new. They were a huge hit. Unfortunately, the balls were stolen, and now there is just a group of poles. These tether balls will be incredible! I can't wait to see the kids' faces when they realize that the balls have been replaced. They will also love the fact that these are softer tether balls than the last ones.
