Students will simulate how dolphins and bats use echolocation to detect prey through Go!Motion devices. This technology will track student movement and then translate those movements into graphs via chromebooks. Students will develop and hone their analytical skills by interpreting the data created by their movements. Go!Motion will also be used for engineering projects related to load bearing forces, in which students will infer which vehicles travel at faster rates. The devices also have forensic activities to reenact accident scenes. Student sleuths will analysis data, tying in how acceleration, velocity, and distance all play a role in solving mysteries.
