A visual and auditory classroom is believed to help student's desire to learn blossom. Keeping a room of 2nd graders engaged in learning while working independently during center time is a challenge. Why not help them learn with what they love, music and computers? A listening center that can play educational songs will significantly help students stay focus on the skills taught thru music without them realizing they are learning. Students will also enjoy listening to audio books being read to them. This will help in crease fluency while reading, an important 2nd grade skill. Technology is the new way of life and it will only continue to grow. Having computers and a color printer in the classroom will enable the students to see and learn beyond where many will never go. Students will be able to learn about different countries around the world with vibrant colors and images. They will also learn skills thru educational online games and lets face it, what child doesn't like playing games, all while learning? They will have access to a color printer and print pictures, word documents and even their Spelling words with a touch of a button! All of these materials will help spark a desire to learn beyond the traditional classroom textbooks and walls. It will help make our future leaders tech savvy, well-rounded individuals,
