The Beautification Club teaches students to care about their school by keeping it clean. It also helps them learn to take responsibility for their surroundings and take pride in their learning environment. The tools provided will allow students to pick up trash and keep their school clean. Some of the tools requested were trash grabbers, trash bags, and plastic gloves. These tools will help keep my students safe while keeping their school clean. It is very important that my students are safe while handling trash. The skills taught by this club will help students become good citizens who not only care about their immediate environment, but also care about their global environment, the earth. As educators, it is important to teach our students academic skills as well as good character skills. Teaching them to care about the earth helps them grow internally, and it opens up their hearts to loving their world.
