As an ENL instructor everyday is about learning and understanding new vocabulary and utilizing these new words to progress and reach fluency. When interesting material is used to expose students to new topics and current events in addition to vocabulary and different language structures it is a win win for both educators and students. The value of being knowledgeable in what is happening in one's adopted country is immeasurable. Students learn better when they don't feel like strangers. They also assimilate quicker and can understand that this foreign country can be home despite the differences with their native country

About my class
