My students are kind and respectful with an eagerness to learn. They come from very diverse backgrounds, some facing multiple hardships. Our classroom environment is inviting, inclusive and safe for all. When my students arrive to class, they immediately gravitate to me and their peers in a positive way. They are mindful of their language and how they present themselves. I am very lucky to be a teacher in Uniondale School District and I am motivated because of my students.
