Kindergarten is a crucial grade because we set the foundation for the other grade levels. With that being said, I am requesting 4 iPads and headphones. We will be using a variety of apps to help them learn the alphabet, numbers, sight words, and to do research projects. For example, we will use Doodle Buddy, ThingLink, Writing Wizard for Kids, Pie time, and Geoboard. "We need technology in every classroom and in every student and teacher's hand, because it is the pen and paper of our time, and it is lens through which we experience much of our world." -David Warlick. With the 21st century here, it is imperative that our scholars utilize technology. We are preparing our scholars to be college ready. To me, that means giving them access to technology.
