My second graders love to read as much as they enjoy listening to stories. Often they ask to visit the school library to get a new book days before our scheduled library check out time. Some days there just isn't enough time in the morning to make this happen. I want to continue to foster my students' enjoyment of reading by providing them with more books at different levels within the classroom. Our classroom library needs to grow to meet the needs of my young avid readers. Since it is not always conducive to visit the school library, I need to have more books to choose from within our classroom.
