Every student deserves a nice and cozy reading rug to sit and listen to the teacher read aloud to them. Reading rugs are set up in the classroom and are used to promote learning and also provide students with a comfy place to work during literacy stations. Further, reading rugs can be located next to the classroom library for students to take turns to read their favorite books. Also, by having a reading rug, students will be able to sit for longer periods of time and stayed engaged. I am also asking for an iPad for my Technology Work station. Students will take turns using the iPad to access reading programs, such as RAZ-Kids, BrainPOP, R-360, and Istation. Thank you so much!
