The donations for this project will help my students become better listeners and learners. They can't learn in an environment that forces them to fit into a mold. They are young, energetic, and full of life. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to improve their academic performance. Students learn in an environment in which they feel comfortable. They need to feel loved, confident, intelligent, and liked by their classmates. They also need to be able to focus. Each child is different and has a different learning style. Some students do better when they can work as a team while others prefer to work alone at times. The tables we work at now do not allow for the children to choose their best place to learn. They have to sit at the seats around the tables next to other students. I have asked for different types of seating choices so that my students can choose to work in the place where they feel they can best focus. I would like to be able to purchase inflatable stability wobble cushions and balance ball chairs so that the students who need to wiggle while they work can do so. The small chairs with footstools and bean bag chairs will be the perfect fit for my little kindergartners to move to a quiet workplace to work if they choose to do so. These materials will also improve our classroom by reducing the amount of behavioral issues because the students will be able to move around the room and choose a place to learn that best fits their individual learning style and needs.
