My classes are divided into small groups in an attempt to get the most out of hands-on activities and labs. They currently have to wait in line to use our two scales. If this is improved, we can stop wasting our time standing in lines and focus on learning. Each group needs a scale so we can complete even more labs and activities. The balances will also improve safety as the students will not need to be roaming around the room as much. The love of science, and specifically chemistry, grows when students get to do labs. But we need supplies to make this happen!
