As stated before, the book Wonder has taken the world by storm, motivating students and teachers to #CHOOSEKIND and to certify themselves as "Kind Classrooms". I truly believe that the world and our classrooms could use more #kindness. This book is about a middle school boy with a physical deformity who constantly struggles to fit in. If you haven't read it already, then I highly recommend adding it to your list! I would like to use this book for an in-depth novel study with my scholars during our "Rocket Time". As they are reading they will work in their INB (interactive notebooks) to complete their Reader Response Journal. Now is the time for students to realize that not everyone learns or looks the same. My goals is to inspire students and to give them an opportunity to fall in love with reading!
