Although our school is about 95% free and reduced lunch we send a little over 75% of our students to a two or four year college each year! We want to change their misconceptions about managing money and help them understand how to make financial decisions that will keep them out of debt! Our students deserve a chance to be financially literate! The Women in Engineering Club wants to pilot a finance book club where we read books and discuss literacy pertaining to a strong understanding of debt, finances and management of money. The books that we need will give us a starting point to understanding the world of financial literary. The knowledge will be useful not only for college but for life!

About my class
