My students are on various levels when it comes to their reading and reading comprehension. To help all of them out I would like some books that would enable more of my students to feel powerful when they are reading. As a first year teacher my classroom library is small and doesn't have a wide range of books for my students which causes problems with those who are lower level and higher level readers. "I do believe something very magical can happen when you read a good book"--JK Rowling. I strongly connect with this quote because when my students find a good book that is also on their level, they get excited about reading and their eyes light up like its a present made just for them. I also see their attitude change towards school when they feel successful at reading a piece of literature which makes the classroom a pleasant environment.
