My students need more interactive learning tools in the classroom. They need these tools mainly because most of my students are still learning English, as well as learning how to read. They are also 7-8 years old, so they would love to use these tools to aide in their development of reading. I know these tools would not only facilitate their learning, but develop a passion for reading. I have previously taught Reading intervention, and have used many of these materials to help my students. Now that I am teaching somewhere without these materials I would love for my students to have that same opportunity. Not only will these tools help my students, but they will also help me! I plan on meeting with small groups to give specific instruction to students that have similar needs. In a class of 23 students I have many learning needs. It would help if my students had something interactive, and educational to do while I met with students in small groups.
