The interactive notebook is a resource students can use forever. Our interactive notebook has step by step instructions on how to solve every math problem we come across in our 6th grade math classroom. Students are encouraged to keep these notebooks until they have completed high school. We make pockets, envelopes and lots of foldables in class to hold manipulates as well as show processes. In efforts to make students learning sticky, I use lots of colors and colored paper. We need colored paper, glue sticks, markers and scissors to make their forever resources for math. The materials requested for this project will help to keep our notebook fun and engaging for students. I am super excited about the resources we are building in our math classroom.
