After many, many years of carpet throughout our school we now have brand new tile flooring. In first grade it is fun and easy to have the students sit on the floor for group time. But now, we need a comfortable spot to sit! Students who are happy and comfortable in their classroom continue to be enthusiastic in their learning. The carpet will give us lots of comfort as we sit for morning meetings, lessons, and quiet reading time. We will be able to sit together, but still social distance during this time of COVID-19, with the help of the block pattern on the carpet.

About my class
