As a TESOL or teacher to speakers of other languages, I am serving both teachers and students in our entire building grades Pk - 8. I am going from classroom to classroom providing intervention and assistance to our ESL students. At this time, we have 55 students in our building's ESL program. We have about 30 students who have recently moved to our school from Puerto Rico due to the hurricanes of 2017. I work with the students, teachers, and families to make sure the students are able to be successful in the classroom as well as their home life needs as well. My team of myself and three amazing translators are often stretched thin to meet the needs of all these students. But we wouldn't have it any other way, we love what we do!

About my class
