Being a great teacher requires many components. We must be educated, excited, and love children. Part of teaching is having a great environment that makes students excited about learning and just being there. My classroom needs an interactive center area and storage components to make teaching and learning more attainable in the time we are given. During ELA and Math Centers the children would use the magnetic white board, pocket charts, and markers to actively engage in phonics, grammar, and math activities. Our classroom is on the smaller side, and the center area is run entirely by the rotating center captains, so we are hoping to attain all magnetic materials for easy setup and use. Our class has a love for reading, and we are very fortunate to have a classroom library. We would like Seat Back Storage Pockets to store our classroom library books. Every week the children are allowed to take out three library books at a time, but storage is an issue. If they had Seat Back Storage Pockets, they would be able to easily access and store their classroom library books and other items. The materials need to be stored in places that are both accessible and attractive to the eyes. These supplies will help make our classroom an inviting place to be between the hours of 9 and 3. They will allow the children to increase their learning and leadership roles in the classroom. I strive to become a better teacher by any means possible. Please help me to attain this goal.
