Having specific materials to focus on a student's area of weakness would help me be a better Speech Language Pathologist, which would help my kids be better students. I have chosen specific manipulatives and materials to address individualized areas of need to better my intervention. These include cards for vocabulary, grammar (pronouns and irregular past tense verbs), sequencing, and answering questions. They can be used in both a receptive or expressive language task. Language is broad, but language intervention is specific. Having the right tools for the job is essential in language intervention. Thank you for taking a moment to help me help my students succeed!
