My students need Guitars and Ukuleles! With 5 more guitars and at least 10 ukuleles each student would be able to practice through the entire music class period. Currently we have six guitars that we must take turns with during class. This makes it difficult to provide students with enough time on the instrument to really get to practice enough to see some substantial improvement. We also would like some ukuleles in order to work on chords for the beginners while we transition them into guitar as their skills improve. The students are really eager to learn and are constantly asking me when we are going to go perform somewhere or go on competitions, and if we had more guitars and ukuleles we would be able to improve our ensembles at a much faster rate, which would enable us to participate in some of the performances that are available through our district's fine arts community. We sincerely thank you for supporting our passion for music and for helping us meet our goals as we grow as a music program!
