This classroom carpet will allow my children an additional area to gather as a whole group to learn during our phonics time. Our phonics curriculum is new this year, and I think having a new space to learn in will excite the children. This rug will allow children to meet in their rug clubs and learn and play with words and sounds in a fresh, new, and clean space. When something new enters the classroom, my students' excitement level is above and beyond which leads to more learning. A new carpet would bring many smiles and excitement to my students!
