"Can I google it?" "Is there a video?" "Can you print out a new packet?" Common questions my students throw at me. I am looking to incorporate a "paperless" classroom for my students. These tablets will offer my students the opportunity to complete classwork, activities, and computer-based projects by providing them a chance to increase their team working skills and expose them to lessons and activities based on 21st century skills. These tablets will first be incorporated in group settings. They will use these tablets for presentations that will allow them to practice collaboration, communication, and creativity. "Education is a progressive discovery of our own ignorance." ~Will Durant After 13 years in the classroom, I am always trying to learn new ideas to bring to our learners. Leading by example is a huge concept I try to live by. Implementing technology into our classroom is essential to them getting the best education possible. Even in our low income school district, these students all know technology. By putting these tablets in their hands, you will be helping to give them a greater understanding of the material needed to advance in their high school into college/trade careers.
