At my school, we use a personalized learning model by setting up a classroom environment that attends to many different learning styles. My room has all spaces for every learner with areas identified for the different kinds of learning they may need to access throughout the day. While I have plenty of space for my students to create and innovate, I do not have enough furniture to help all of my students and their learning styles. Wobble chairs are designed to support students with ADHD, because they provide a physical challenge and opportunity to release energy while simultaneously working. However, modifications such as these wobble chairs often benefit all learners, especially with a shared classroom space. I would love the chance to empower my students by allowing them to have an ideal learning environment? The simple opportunity to choose a chair that meets their physical needs is a way for developing success and confidence as a learner!
