Each of my students have each picked their own book that they want to add to our library. My students are so excited to get these books, and are ready to read their favorite books! As a class, we have talked about how when we are finished reading one of the books that they chose, that they will recommend that book to another student in our class. It melts my heart to see how excited my students are about reading. As a teacher, I have found that it can be difficult to get students to read, and enjoy reading at the same time. When I told my students about my idea of letting each student pick out a book, they loved the idea! Please help support my amazing students and their passion for reading!
